SENIAC - SECURITY FOR INTERCONNECTED DEVICES VIA INJECTION OF AUTHENTICATION AND ENCRYPTION ALGORITHMS

The overall objective of this project is to allow devices distributed across the network to form part of a reliable and secure trust chain that guarantees the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of the information without repudiation, through the injection into the devices of a firmware that provides sufficiently-robust methods of encryption and authentication

To this end, we propose the development of a highly-secure software platform that, once installed on the devices by reprogramming their firmware, will provide them with cryptographic and physical identification techniques that by their very construction make identity theft of these devices very difficult.
